Chase's Family Restaurant & Hide-Away Lounge: A Top Dining Spot in Bangor, ME

The tables were clean and the staff were very nice. The food was really good and the burger was amazing! This place is a bit expensive but its definitely worth it. I highly recommend!!! 5!!!!!

We have eaten here many times and the food is always great. They have some of the best wings in the area, both boneless and bone-in. The little bar around the back is almost always busy! Great bar staff, always friendly and personable.

Classic American diner experience. Lovely staff and light conversations made the atmosphere almost home-y. Food was delicious, portions were just right. Bathrooms were clean.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel front desk for dinner and had a great meal at a good price. Food was very tasty. We liked it so much we returned for breakfast the next morning before checking out of the hotel. Would return again when we are in the area!!!!

Really good family restaurant. The onion rings were fantastic. The French onion cheese steak was great. Our server was a little too inattentive but otherwise it was great.

Had a great homestyle meal at Chase's. It was all you could eat fried haddock day. The only disappointing thing was I couldn't eat any more haddock as I was full. Large portions. The most friendly service I have experienced when dining out in a long time. They were super busy and still got to us quickly and efficiently. Looking forward to going back.

We stopped on the way to Bar Harbor. It’s an older restaurant with older decor, but did not feel dusty or delapidated. There were five of us. We were sat promptly. Everyone was kind and genuine, which is really out of the ordinary. The food was very good. I had the soft pretzel which ended up being shared and devoured. The cheese and honey mustard was spot on. French onion soup was good. Wife got the Ruben. My son got nachos. I don’t remember what my daughter got. Everyone loved it. Would definitely go again.

This a very nice family restaurant with a charming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. We got the Johnny Breakfast which we split . It came with two pancakes , two eggs.fried potatoes, choice of toast . We were seated quickly. Our order came out promptly. It was delicious and didn't disappoint. Everything was made to perfection . There prices are reasonable. Our breakfast was under twenty dollars. I had coffee which was delicious and hit the spot . It is a popular place. I believe their hours are from 7 a.m til 8 p.m . I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is worth the visit .
